About UpperDeck
This beautiful apartment can accommodate up to six guests and is situated in the heart of Salcombe with incredible views over the historic fishing town, the estuary (technically a ria), and the sandy beaches beyond. The property is also offered with a nearby private parking space which is only a two-minute walk away.
The Space
The apartment comprises the top two floors of a Victorian mid-terraced building which used to be an old Sea Captain’s house.
The first floor includes an open-plan kitchen and living area, and a master bedroom with a super king-sized double bed, reading lamps with integrated USB charging points, a vanity basin unit, and an en suite shower room with WC. Two further bedrooms are located on the second floor, each of which include two single beds.
The living area consists of sofas, coffee table, corner unit including a smart TV and DVD player, and double French-style windows leading out onto the full length balcony that provides panoramic views over the town, the turquoise water, and sandy beaches, and the rolling hills beyond.
The kitchen is well equipped, including all items you may typically need during your stay.
The parking for the property is a designated private parking space for a single car in the residential parking area above Shadycombe public carpark.
We do allow young children, but note that use of the apartment and balcony is at your own risk.

Salcombe is a charming little town on the bank of what is often described as the prettiest harbour in England.
Picture-perfect pastel-coloured houses make up a Positano-like scene overlooking water, sandy beaches and rolling green hills of the surrounding countryside.
Salcombe has a uniquely wonderful array of shops ranging from an acclaimed butcher and baker to art galleries selling serious contemporary works and chic boutiques.

We had a brilliant stay here. The perfect place to explore Salcombe from as it’s just a few minutes walk to the ferries, shops and cafes. Also very close to a playground. The house was very spacious, clean and has a well stocked kitchen. It is useful that the house comes with a parking space.
